Möbius Loop

Recurring tasks, in rhythm.

A small, calm assistant for the things that never end —
water the plants, call your parents, read a little every day.

The problem

“Water the plants” is not a deadline

Task tools are built around due dates: pick one, miss it, feel bad, reschedule. But routines don't have deadlines — they have a rhythm. Some slack is fine; forgetting entirely is not.

Forced dates turn a healthy rhythm into a wall of red — and the list into a place you avoid.

The idea

Priority is derived, not declared

You tell Loop what recurs and roughly how often. Everything else is computed: πid — a deterministic priority model, “Priority Is Derived” — continuously calculates how much attention each task needs right now.

  • The queue orders itself. No manual sorting, ever.
  • Urgency is a quiet color tone, not an alarm.
  • Skipping is a first-class move — rhythm bends, it doesn't break.

Three zones. That's the whole interface.

The product

A queue you can trust at a glance

  • Cards carry their own hue; the tone shows what's due.
  • Swipe right for Later, left for Edit or Skip.
  • Undo for everything — including across devices.
  • Add a task in two taps; suggestions get you started.
  • Rhythms can cluster — “3 days in a row, every 3rd week” is one task, not three.

Privacy

Privacy as architecture, not a promise

  • The priority engine runs entirely on the client — the server never needs to “understand” your tasks to rank them.
  • Browser Local mode and the Telegram tier write nothing to our servers.
  • Local mode on iPhone, iPad, and Mac syncs through your personal iCloud; optional Server mode is covered by the published privacy disclosures.
  • No ads, no analytics, no cookies. Server accounts are pseudonymous: no names, no emails; deletion is full erasure. EU-hosted, GDPR-grounded.

Under the hood

A formula, not a black box

  • Priority is one pure formula. Each task brings its own ratio — the time since it was last done, set against its own rhythm — and the formula turns that into today's attention. Same inputs, same queue: deterministic and explainable, no AI guessing.
  • Pure math travels well: the identical engine runs in the browser, on Apple devices, and inside Telegram — ranking your tasks never needs a server.
  • Around 1,000 tests keep it honest, including end-to-end suites that drive the real API and a real database — not mocks.
